If you love R-Type, Gradius or any other side-scrolling shooter, then you must not pass up the chance to play Phalanx, the best shooter ever made.

Push your game play skill to the limits with the most sophisticated side-scrolling arcade shooter available for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance! Phalanx is an eight-stage adventure through extremely hostile alien terrain. Unlike some mindless, thumb-numbing arcade shooters, Phalanx features a balanced play system with interchangeable weapons. Because certain types of intergalactic baddies are weak against specific weapons, it's important to think first then shoot second. Based on the popular arcade shooter for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, this reincarnation features an expanded storyline and plenty of game play improvements.
