The year is 2117, and Earth is under the control of the evil Arelian Empire. A band of rebels has risen, and it is up to the player to lead this new army into battle and re-claim Earth for humankind. "Rebelstar Tactical Command" lets players control a squad of soldiers, utilizing advanced tactics to out-smart the Arelians and RPG elements to develop the strengths of individual teammates. With fully destructible environments, players can strategically demolish Arelian outposts and landmarks, forcing the enemy away from cover and into their sights. Gamers can play alone in the single player campaign mode or strategize with a friend in Hotseat Multiplayer mode for the ultimate sci-fi conquest.

Developed by brothers Nick and Julian Gollop who started the renowned "X-COM" and "LASER SQUAD" strategy series, "Rebelstar: Tactical Command" combines traditional turn-based strategy with an RPG twist, letting players interact with members of their squad and spend skill points earned in battle to develop each character’s unique strengths.
