ENIX DEBUTS ONLINE WORLD FOR 'DRAGON WARRIOR® MONSTERS 2’

Web Site to Serve as Town Square for Entire Monster Community

SEATTLE, WA, September 6, 2001 – Hot on the heels of the best-selling success of Dragon Warrior III, Enix America Inc today announced the launch of the official Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 web site at www.enix.com. Scheduled to ship on September 25, 2001, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 – Cobi’s Journey and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 – Tara’s Adventure are the next games in the popular Enix monster series and have already sold more than one million units during its first week of availability in Japan. Both titles are compatible with Game Boy® Color and Game Boy® Advance.

Acting as the destination for fans of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, the new site will be continually refreshed so visitors who return throughout the day will find new information and profiles of the 300-plus monsters found in the game. Via an animated navigation bar, fans can also visit the island of GreatLog and gather background information on key points of interest, including Hero’s House, Monster Farm and Key Shop.

What is sure to be one the most visited sections on the site is the Linkability area whereby visitors can read about the many ways in which to enjoy Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 via the Game Link®. Thanks to its multiplayer functionality, in Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, gamers can breed monsters, challenge their friends monsters, team up with friends and take on the computer’s monsters while trading keys that unlock secret worlds within each game.

The web site also includes story information, game play features, FAQs and a message board for fans to post questions, trade secrets and enjoy being a member of one of the fastest growing communities on the web.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is the story of Cobi and Tara, a brother and sister who move with their family to the island of GreatLog to begin monster farming. Thanks to the troublesome duo of Prince Kameha and his monster sidekick, Warubou, GreatLog begins to sink into the ocean and it’s up to Cobi and Tara to find and train an army of Dragon Warrior monsters and save the island.

Featuring a robust RPG adventure laid out in the classic Dragon Warrior style, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is actually two separate games – Cobi’s Journey and Tara’s Adventure -- with each game featuring a different main character with distinctive skills.

Packed with over 300 monsters from 11 monster families, including new monsters from Dragon Warrior VII, in Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 players will need to call upon all their monster taming, breeding and training skills if they are to succeed. Each game incorporates unique monsters and unique RPG scenarios.

Setting Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 apart from standard monster collecting games is a exciting set of functionality via the Game Link. By merging the worlds of Cobi and Tara together, players can:
