The all conquering Advance Wars 2 is coming to a Game Boy Advance near you soon,
bringing with it a previously uncharted level of absorbing gameplay and
challenging depth. Never has war looked so good in the palm of your hand.
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is the updated, upgraded and improved sequel
to the original Advance Wars which was hailed by many as the best handheld
strategy game for the Game Boy Advance and was named AIAS handheld Game of the
Year 2001.
There is an array of new missions and features to capture the interest of
players all over Europe once again. Challenging minds rather than quick trigger
fingers, Advance Wars 2 is set to be the greatest cerebral challenge for the
handheld console yet.
This time, players must defeat the Black Hole Army and its leader Sturm who is
trying to conquer all of Cosmo Land. In a number of challenging missions,
players take control of new Commanding Officers using their CO powers to weight
the battles in their favor.
New units to the game include the Neotank, a powerful spider-like vehicle that
brings devastation and a new level of strategic influence to the game. Win
battles to earn credits to kit your CO’s out in new uniforms and unlock even
more challenging levels. In addition, skilled Advance Wars veterans can now use
the new customisable Map Editor to make their own battle maps.
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising also features multiplayer options with both
Single- and Multi-pak modes available. Challenge your friends and become the CO
champion!
Easy to play yet impossible to put down, Advance Wars 2 has a wealth of features
and engaging gameplay to appeal to players of all ages and tastes and keep them
going well into the winter months.
